i730/i830 Status Light

StatusLight is a MIDP java application for the Motorola i730/i733/i736/i830. Over
the air delivery is currently not available, but if you have either
a usb or serial data cable you can download and install it to your
phone.

Click here to download the free trial or purchase the full version.StatusLight blinks the external LCD backlight of the i830, and the led around the Motorola Symbol on the i730 in different colors according to the signal strength returned from the phone. There are 6 possible signal strengths from 0 to 5. A signal strength of zero indicates no service.
The default configuration of the status light has the signal strength colors arranged according to the following

| 1 | CYAN |
| 2 | MAGENTA |
| 3 | BLUE |
| 4 | WHITE |
| 5 | GREEN - Full Service |
The full version is customizable to include any combination of the following colors:
You can also set the blink duration, the blink period, and a custom startup message. Last, there is a party setting that is fun for all!
The application suspends when you receive a call or direct connect, but no worries! Now it will restart by itself 15 seconds after it is paused if the flip is closed. If you want to adjust the volume or use your one touch direct connect, the StatusLight will suspend for 15 secs or until the phone is no longer busy - then it starts right back up.
There is a user configuration menu where many of the parameters can be customized for a look that is unique.

Click here to listen to one of the sounds that can be played when the flip is opened. This sound can be toggled on and off for privacy. You can customize the wallpaper by sending new picture over the data cable to the status light easily using SendPhotoGT. The the sounds that are played when the flip is open can be changed using the StatusLightEditor. Both SendPhotoGT and the StatusLightEdior are free java programs I wrote. I730 owners Excellent little program to add a much needed feature to the phone. Only problem is that it won't sit in the background, but I understand that is coming very shortly. If you have an I730, this is a priceless tool for your phone. |
